POSITION: Do you tell all your friends about Airbnb? Do you naturally bring people together? Are you constantly organizing fun activities with your friends? ----- We are currently hiring for a Community Manager to help develop and support a strong community of Airbnb hosts in Sao Paulo. This position requires a high level of self-motivation, sociability, and professionalism. We are looking for an assertive team member with the initiative to drive Airbnb's growth in Sao Paulo and encourage potential Airbnb members to join our worldwide community. ------ Start Date: February, 2012 RESPONSIBILITIES: Conduct educational gatherings to teach hosts about best practices for Airbnb. Organize unique social events to engage the Airbnb community in Sao Paulo. Develop programs to build the host community in your city. Provide support to hosts on a wide range of topics and issues. Communicate user feedback to the Head of Community. REQUIREMENTS: Event planning experience. Ideally, you?re already an Airbnb host! Passionate about Airbnb and spread the Airbnb love everywhere you go! Hospitality, marketing, or sales background preferred. Excellent communication skills, both written and interpersonal. Strong leadership qualities and professional demeanor. Flexible schedule in order to host events during evenings and weekends as necessary. Positive can-do attitude and tireless work ethic. Fluency in Brazilian Portuguese & proficiency in English. ----- WHAT WE OFFER Freedom to implement your own event ideas and concepts.
